An "E" Giveaway....

... I was going through my stash the other day and I found this design:

I bought this last year to stitch for my mother's birthday this year but sadly she passed away before I could even start it.

Now, I feel too sad to stitch it and I have no other "E" people to stitch it for.

So, I would like it to go to a Happy Home.

Is anyone interested?  Just comment on this post or email me at kayedep@gmail.com and let me know.

I will keep this open for a week - so next Thursday morning (29th May) I will pick a winner.

You do not have to be a follower or have a blog - just comment/email and have a snail mail address, of course.

I am happy to post anywhere in the world.

hugs,

Gosh this is stunningly beautiful... very sad that you never got the chance to stitch it.. but very lovely of you to pass onto some one else so they have the pleasure to stitch it for a loved one.
I am in the same position as you really.. I too have no one with the letter E I could stitch for.
Please do not enter me for the draw I just wanted to make a comment.
Sending smiles you way :)

Such a shame that your Mum won't get to see this stitched for her but I'm sure she would appreciate what you are doing with the chart.
I would stitch it for my friend's daughter Emily. All four of my friend's children have an ASD and the older girl always said she wanted to be a mermaid when she grew up. The teachers laughed but this girl now swims for her country in the youth team. I wanted to stich her the K mermaid (when it gets released) so I would stitch this one for Emily so she doesn't feel left out. I don't think the boys are bothered...

I thoroughly understand. I was working on a needlepoint piece while my mother was struggling with her stroke and health issues. I don't know if I'll ever complete it. Please don't count me in.
Fondly,
Kim

Well, my name is Erin and my daughter's middle name is Elizabeth...and I already have Nora's "M" for my daughter as well. But I can't promise I'll get to stitching this right away, so if you are looking to see it stitched ASAP, it is fine to leave me out! It is lovely, though. So sorry about your mum's passing.

Hello Kaye,

Are you sure you don;t want to stitch it in her memory?
Little baby Emily has arrived and it would be so lovely to stitch it for her.

Have a lovely day.

Sorry that you didn't get to stitch it for your mum. My daughter's name is Erika - so I'd love to stitch it for her as she only ever gets named things when we go to Germany/Austria as her name is spelt that way!
